Hello, I am Chang Liu - a ceramic artist rooted in the vibrant heart of London. At Chang Creations, I craft functional ceramics that celebrate nature's imperfections, the quiet beauty of raw textures, and the elegance of simplicity. Every piece is born from my hands, using the ancient coil-building technique, a meditative process where each clay coil is layered with intention, patience, and reverence for tradition.

Carrara Vista Tea Set

This set is a personal reflection of two worlds. I am from China, where tea is a way of life. My husband is from Carrara, Italy - a town renowned for its majestic marble mountains and sweeping coastal views.

The teapot features a flowing, wave-like handle that echoes the marble ridges seen from his parents’ balcony, where the mountains rise above the sea. Its rounded body symbolises the calm waters facing those peaks - serene, full, and grounding.
